06-05-2017: HAPPENINGS – Reportedly the RWA President of D-6 Santushti Apartments Mrs. Snehlata Rathi has been roughed up three time in the last month, by her own residents over removal of 17 Dhobis and Car Parking issues. Besides demanding money by RWA. A laundry shop is being opened in replacement of old Dhobi’s. Over commercialisation seems to be at the core of all these confrontations and disputes. The residents are demanding the removal of the President and want re-election to be held immediately.
Many of the residents have reportedly filed police complaints against the RWA and also written strong letters to the RWA objecting to certain rules being enforced by the RWA President. Many of the residents having a work from home workplace are being asked to cough up hefty amounts of money if they want to continue doing their work. This needs to be further investigated and all the facts need to be unearthed before a permanent solution can be found.
